The app displays the EU harmonised notice on the legal guarantee of conformity and the EU GARAN durability label on a Shopify store, as set out in Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1960.
When a merchant installs the app, we store only what the app needs to work:
The app does not collect, store or process any personal information about the store's customers. It does not use cookies or tracking on the storefront. On the storefront and at checkout, the notice and label images are loaded from Shopify's CDN or from the app's server; these requests contain no customer data.
The information is used only to show the notice and the label on the merchant's store and to assign guarantee years to products the merchant selects. It is not sold or shared with third parties.
Settings and the access token are stored on Cloudflare Workers KV. Guarantee years, brand and model identifier are stored as metafields on the merchant's own Shopify products.
When the app is uninstalled, the stored access token and settings are deleted. We also respond to Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks for customer data requests, customer data erasure and shop data erasure.
